Qingdao

We traveled to Qingdao by train. This was my first train ride and it was great! We slept over night in sleeper cabins. The train station in Beijing was huge and we left at night. It was a little sketchy, but all sixty of us made it through, with luggage and all still in hand.

Some Qingdao highlights were the Olympic Water Competition Facility, the Qingdao Choral Festival Press Conference, and the amazing performance in the Qingdao Grand Concert Hall.

At the first performance in Qingdao the choir especially felt God's presence with them as they sang and even sang better as a result. Students were in tears as they sang and definitely talked about how awesome it was that night. Unfortunately, this was the night I was a little sick, but I joined in on the fun the next night.
